About this site
Almost every enterprise on earth now uses AI somewhere. Almost none can point to the result. In its 2025 State of AI survey, McKinsey found that seventy-eight percent of organizations use AI in at least one function, while one percent believe they are mature in how they use it. The spending is universal. The impact is not.
I started this publication to work on the distance between those two numbers. I call it the Adoption Gap: the space inside any given workflow between what is now possible and what the enterprise has actually put into production. AI is the accelerant, not the whole story. Its real significance is how much adjacent technology it has suddenly dragged into reach, the process mining nobody could read, the automation that broke on every exception, the integration that used to need a developer. The capability is abundant and cheapening by the month. What no operator has is the time to read every release, test every tool, and picture how the pieces assemble into something that works inside their own walls.
That is the work here. I do the imagining on your behalf, in the open. Function by function, I map where the gap is widest, name the use cases worth pursuing, argue the stack choices on their merits, dissect the failures honestly, and draw the architecture plainly enough that you could hand the diagram to your team on a Tuesday. Procurement, compliance, legal, audit, quality, EHS, ESG, the PMO, and well beyond them, because the gap opens anywhere someone has failed to join the pieces, including the tool that shipped last week and the open-source project buried three pages deep on GitHub.
The standard I hold every piece to: specific names, real numbers, cited sources, and an ending you can act on Monday rather than admire on Friday. The reader I write for is an operator inside a real enterprise, not an observer of one. No hype, no thought-leadership fog, no AI writing about AI in the abstract. Just the connective tissue.
